Harrington Jacket
The Harrington jacket has stayed in the menswear conversation for a reason. The silhouette is short, easy through the body, and finished with a ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem. Worn open or zipped, it pairs as cleanly with chinos as it does with denim.
Rodd & Gunn Harringtons are built around fabrics chosen for performance and longevity.
Cotton twills feature across the range, valued for breathability and how they soften with wear. Select styles use technical polyamide fabrics for water resistance and packability. Suede and lightweight wool blends sit at the more considered end of the range.
Construction details reflect attention to how the jacket wears over time.
Ribbed cuffs and hems are knit to hold their tension through repeated wash and wear. YKK zippers are specified on zippered styles. Linings on select pieces use blends of recycled polyester and viscose.
Fit follows our usual approach. The shoulder seam should sit at the edge of the shoulder. The body should sit cleanly without pulling at the chest. Sports Fit applies on closer-cut styles, Original Fit on more relaxed ones.
