The Dunedin Military boot is our all-purpose boot. Uppers are made from premium natural leathers that are full of character, with matching suede collars, and antiqued finished trims including the 'pointer' rivet. The upper is lined with both leather and fabric. The outsole features a heavy rand detail, two tone cleated rubber outsole and a roughed finished heel for that casual look. The Dunedin is paired perfectly with denim or chinos, either tucked into or over the ankle of the boot.

My new trusty all-rounder!
As I type this review I'm wearing what have now become my trusty all-rounder - the Dunedin Military Boot. After a short break-in period, the boot is exceptionally comfortable and after nearly a month of wear, are in near perfect condition. Dress up at work with a pair of chinos/slacks, or dress down with a pair of jeans, they're a great go everywhere, do anything boot.

Comfy, ideal for winter office work. Only let down was that they were reduced not long after I brought them. Also the laces have worn after only a couple of weeks. There is a spare pair, but I would expect laces on a pair of £170 boots to last longer

Squeaky Boots
After only wearing these boots for a week, I have developed a squeak in both boots when I walk. I am not sure where the squeak is coming from but it is becoming annoying. I had to replace the insoles on the 1st day because the original ones did not support my high arches. Everything was fine after I replaced the insoles until one week later. I tried some home remedies to stop the squeak without success.

These are really nice boots, they are slightly more narrow in the toe than I expected so feels a little more like a "dress" boot....really good at the office w jeans but less a "work boot"

Don't give this one the boot!
Very comfy shoe quality construction and good looking. You won't regret the purchase. The size does run over slightly. I'm a 45 euro normally, and this 44 was comparable to what I would expect from a 45 normally.

Great shoe, but needs breaking in.
Bought these, wore them home, killed my feet that night though, had to take them off at the pictures. Couple days later, put them back on and they are quite comfortable. You do need to break them in so dont expect them to be sweet as at the start.
Recommended for the price. Bought two pairs. R&G warranty of 2 years is so awesome.

Would recommend, but on advisement.
I thought I’d wait until my first pair became completely unserviceable before posting a review. I bought my second pair about three months after my first and have been wearing the second for ‘Best’ and the first for everyday and gardening use. This should give you enough in itself as a recommendation. They are fabulously comfy and reasonably hard wearing. Only a 4* despite this? Well - as mentioned elsewhere the laces are absolute trash. The soles are not hard wearing either. This starts to get pricey if you’re wearing them a lot. You’ll also want to buy a decent pair of insoles. I binned the first pair as the leather ripped due to wear. I had worn the A LOT by then. In summary, I’ll probably get another pair, but refrain from anything too heavy duty in them. If you’re after general wear they are, after you factoring in the he additional cost you’re going to pick up, still a decent purchase as they mould to your feet, look terrific and are pretty good in all weather.
