Quality leather develops a patina as it ages — a gradual deepening and variation of colour that comes from exposure to light, handling, and natural oils from the skin. The hides used across the premium range are chosen in part for how they age: the surface becomes richer and more characterful over time. The metal hardware ages alongside the leather, taking on a slightly darker, more antiqued tone with use.
