Utilising the finest materials available and crafting high quality menswear garments with a close eye on detail is what separates Rodd & Gunn from its competitors. These values were key to the execution the company’s first hospitality venture, The Lodge Bar, on Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown.


The Lodge Bar is Rodd & Gunn's first hospitality venue which opened in August 2016. It has since built a reputation for quality in food, beverage and service.

Lodge Bar & Dining, Auckland

The Lodge Bar is coming to Auckland!


Following on from the success of The Lodge Bar on Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, we are thrilled to be expanding to the heart of Auckland with the “Lodge Bar & Dining”


Opening in September at the soon-to-be-completed Commercial Bay development, the venue will have prime positioning on the corner of Lower Albert & Quay St with views out to Auckland harbour.
We’re bringing the best elements from The Lodge Bar in Queenstown with the addition of a full commercial kitchen and dining room.


Our Michelin starred chef Matt Lambert will be flexing his culinary muscles and making the most of the amazing produce from in and around Auckland and, like Queenstown, we’ll be featuring a wine list highlighting the exemplary winemaking throughout New Zealand. Cameron Douglas (New Zealand’s only Master Sommelier) has been building the list over the last 18 months, with a number of limited run and hard to find varietals being offered.


This is our first call out to welcome interest in being part of our further expansion into the world of hospitality. As such, we are inviting expressions of interest for positions across the venue.
