Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sneaker review A quality product like all Rodd & Gunn merchandise, however I found the fitting of the Sneakers to be large.I normally find my UK/AUS size 8 to be a perfect fit but the Sneakers are a bit big and I’ll need to wear thicker socks with them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst shoes I have ever owned by a large margin I almost never leave bad reviews on anything but sometimes a product is just so phenomenally bad that I'm compelled to, and this is one of those occasions. When I got these shoes I thought they looked pretty cool and that's where the good points ended. The first thing I noticed was that they absorb moisture into the exterior material like a sponge, so if you walk across vaguely damp grass or sweat slightly, this shows up as dark blotchy patches on the fabric which oddly just makes the fabric look horribly dirty instead of damp. The next weird thing I experienced was the lack of grip on the sole - if you're walking across slightly unstable or slippy ground, in most shoes you'll feel the ground being kind of slippy first but in these shoes the whole underfoot will give way instantly with no warning; I've spent more time on the ground after falling over in these shoes in the last 6 months than I have in my entire adult life. Within 1 month the insoles had worn through. This exposed the underfoot frame of the shoe which is a lumpy, hard grid pattern sort of like a milk crate. This explained why the insoles failed - not only were they extremely poor quality but they were being torn apart from underneath by this waffle press arrangement. Suddenly I realised why my feet were hurting so much, so I swapped the now perished insoles with the insoles from my old boots which helped slightly. This relief was short lived, because I soon noticed that the 'wall' of the shoe around the heel was now ripping off. This is a kind of hard plastic that surrounds the heel and supports the structure of the shoe; bits of this were ripping off and getting stuck under my foot or rattling around inside the shoe. I ended up having to rip this stuff out completely because it was digging into my ankles. I'm now not even 6 months in to wearing these shoes for an average of less than 1 hour each day, and there is a hole worn clean through the sole of one. That's another thing, the soles of these shoes are paper thin and feel like they're designed to actually amplify the feeling of the ground underneath them. There is virtually no grip left on either shoe, the insides are ripped to shreds, the exterior stitching is coming out of both shoes (this happened within 2 months) and I'm sitting here with what appears to be a stress fracture of the 2nd metatarsal of my right foot (right where the hole in the shoe is) which I can't attribute to anything other than wearing really crappy footwear for too long. When I've bought shoes in the past, be it Cat boots or Chuck Taylors etc, I've really never given a second thought to how important it is to design a shoe which works ergonomically with the foot and is made with comfort and longevity in mind. These Rodd & Gunn sneakers however have given me a new appreciation for how important it is to wear footwear that is made by people who are experienced in making footwear, and R&G ain't that. If you want to put these on and look good lounging around the house then that's the only use-case I could recommend but if you have any kind of active life at all, I strongly recommend you stay away from these for your own wellbeing. These sneakers are basically a $12 Kmart shoe with the Rodd & Gunn logo slapped on them. I'm pretty sure mine are still within warranty, but I wouldn't wear a brand new pair if they were sent to me that's how bad they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leather Park sneaker Nice fit and roomy, I’m a 9.5, so the 10 was a bit big. I slipped an inner sole from some work boots in and they’re good and comfy with extra padding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking shoe with top quality Great quality shoes. Bought them during the sale, and it's completely worth it. Runs a size large, so I had to exchange them for a smaller size which wasn't an issue at all.
