The perfect boot to pair with denim or chinos, the Freberg Chelsea Boot is crafted from premium, soft USA leathers or nubucks, features tonal oiled suede trims, the upper lining is fabric and leather, with a leather covered removable moulded footbed for added comfort. The outsole has a rugged, vintage finish to the sole and heel surface, and is finished with a leather welt look trim and leather brand patch imbedded in the sole.

The boots look amazing, however I discovered today on a rainy day that they are dangerously slippery on certain flat surfaces. I nearly slipped over several times on a wet paved area. My partners sneakers had much more grip on the wet surface. Then later that night the boots were also slippery on a timber floor at a restaurant which wasn’t wet. As I Mentioned- they look great but if it’s raining you need to be ultra careful walking around in them. I won’t be wearing them on rainy days again as they are just not safe. I recommend Rodd and Gunn to change the material on the sole for this reason but keep the style as the look fantastic!
