The Duntroon Military boot is a rich brown pull up leather that is full of character, and teams perfectly with the contrast padded collar and heel counter detail. The 6 hole tie upper features a raw edge butt-seam detail along the waist of the boot, an inside zip for ease of entry and a "Pointer" brass rivet. It also features a two tone rubber cleated outsole with heavy rand and roughed heel detail that helps to finish off the rugged, casual aesthetic.

Great style
Great style and well constructed. Sizing runs a touch higher than standard. I wear a 11/45 typically but could get into a 10/44.

Thoughts after 2 weeks
FUNCTION 9/10
I got these boots specifically because I wanted something with a zipper for easy on/off but also with laces to lock down around my ankle. These fit the bill perfectly. The only thing that left something to be desired was the pull tabs: they are a bit too small to get my finger in to be convenient. However, tugging on the boot itself has been working fine.
FIT 9/10
Fit is the most important thing when buying boots. A lot of boot brands are just too long and narrow. I would say these boots are true to size if you’re thinking of sneaker sizes. Just keep in mind that boots tend to look longer than sneakers of the same size. I did have one issue with the fit that’s described in the Comfort section below.
COMFORT 7/10
Overall the shoes are comfortable. The toes can bend pretty easily unlike some of my other boots. There is no heel slip out of the box. The insole has some decent padding and arch support (I have a moderate arch). However, the heel cup material on the inside was digging into my feet under my ankle bone. I think my foot sits a little too low within the shoe; I can feel there’s some extra room vertically. I feel like the insole should be thicker to take up this space and also lift my heel a couple millimeters so that it doesn’t come in contact with the stiff inner heel cup at certain angles. I simply solved this by swapping out the insoles with something thicker and also bending the edges of the inner heel cup with my fingers away from my foot.
AESTHETICS 9/10
These boots look great in person. The varying shades of leather on the boots are quite nice. The leather has a slight reddish tone which I really like. The toe color is darker which provides a nice contrast and the shape is slightly bulbous -- a nice change of pace from my other more pointy toe boots. The contrasting suede heel is also a nice touch. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the fabric collar. I would have preferred an all leather collar but it doesn’t make a huge visual difference on feet.
OVERALL 8/10
I think this is one of the best options online for a good quality boot that has an inside zip and laces. I think with a couple minor improvements this boot could be 10/10.

Good quality, comfort, size and utility.
Fantastic value and quality. I chose a 43 and it was a good fit. I'm 43 in Aquilla, 10 in Nike and Adidas. Bought these boots for casual Friday and i think they suit nicely. Side zips are handy.
