The Peregrine story may be expressed in its multidimensional wines but its heart lies in enduring respect for the land.
CERTIFIED
ORGANIC
Situated in the heart of Central Otago’s revered Gibbston Valley, it’s essential to understand the importance of the land to the story.
For CEO, Fraser McLachlan, this is where it starts. It’s about family, both heritage and future.
As he puts it, with the health of the land first and foremost, the foundation for success today and into the future, is safeguarded.
This is the year the Peregrine label was certified organic. The culmination of a nine year project, in many cases, expediency was shunned in favour of
labour and patience.
This focus on providence can be seen in the wider activities of the Peregrine family.
Dedicated supporters of the Wingspan Trust, the team shares a passion for the conservation of New Zealand’s native birds. Most notably, the brand’s namesake, the Peregrine falcon, but also essential projects such as the relocation of endangered Saddlebacks to pest free areas of nearby Fiordland
National Park.
It’s a hands-on commitment the McLachlan’s can be proud to share with their audience.
