I purchased the Coronet Crescent in Nero during the 2025 Black Friday sale. Unfortunately, the quality of the belt appears to be worse than expected.
I compared it with a "coronet crescent in mud" belt, that I bought from a Rodd and Gunn storefront in New Zealand back in 2019, and the difference is noticeable. The older belt was thicker, the finishing and stitching was different, and it felt far more durable than this 2025 purchase. Perhaps the belts shipped within the united states are of lesser quality than the versions sold in NZ?
I really like Rodd and Gunn and my 2019 belt is still my go too but this belt was disappointing.

Not What they once were
I revisited Rodd and Gunn online after some time of just buying from the store fronts and had always considered myself a loyal customer but sadly it appears the quality of the goods sold by the label are not what they once were. In this case I sat my old belts beside the new one purchased online and the new Rodd and Gunn is a shadow of its former quality.

Leather Belt
Belt was too short and didn’t match the size I ordered so was returned. I have ordered belts from Rodd & Gunn before and have had a similar problem. It would pay to shop for belts in store rather than order on line.
