A polo of real quality
The Regatta Polo is just quality - the material is somewhat heavy and hangs well as a result. The logo is beautifully stitched, as are the buttons, the neck tape and the plackets - it is just great.

Still nice shirts but quality of the fabric has decreased. Gunn Polos used be made from a rich, heavy fabric - now is a much thinner material.

Great fabric, it was a sport fit so I had to go a few sizes larger for it to fit properly.
Normally I am an XL regular, but with R & G a 2XX or even 3XX in the sport fit is good

Stop the white band on the inside of the collars!
I have bought Gunn polos for 20 years but in recent years I cannot understand the white support band on the inside of the collars - it degrades the overall look and style. I have started buying another brand because of this unnecessary feature.

Not quite what I was hoping for, from Rodd & Gunn
I've always purchased from Rodd & Gunn in New Zealand. I now live in Canada and was glad to see that the brand could be purchased here. Unfortunately the sizing appears to be different for this market as the polo shirts I purchased here were too small. I was told by customer service that they couldn't be exchanged if I purchased online (there is no store in Vancouver) so I had to post them back and await a refund. At this time, 10 days after sending them back, I am still awaiting a refund.
