Based from your luxury accommodation in the historic village of Clyde, you will get to sample three amazing and very different trails, giving you a taste of what cycling in Central Otago has to offer, all done in style & luxury.

New Zealand's first Rail Trail and Original Great Ride opened in 2000. The Otago Central Rail Trail is a 152-kilometre, recreational trail that follows the former Otago Central railway line between Middlemarch and Clyde. You will experience a day of this beautiful voted 'New Zealand's Favourite Ride' for the past two years.

The Roxburgh Gorge Trail runs from Alexandra to Lake Roxburgh Dam following the beautiful Clutha River. This exciting Cycle Trail gives you the opportunity to head away from the more popular Otago Central Rail Trail to explore the more remote and unique Roxburgh Gorge.

Linking the heritage towns of Cromwell and Clyde, the Lake Dunstan Trail offers close survey of landforms shaped not only by nature but also the gold miners and dam-builders who toiled here during the last two centuries. Following in their footsteps, world-class track builders have constructed clip-on boardwalks, an 86m suspension bridge, and impressive rock walls. The newest Great Ride in Central Otago and the Southern Lakes, this specially built trail provides a vital link to the Otago Central Rail Trail, Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold Trail.
