Our Sussex Street Sneaker is our premium new sneaker where we have searched through the archives to take styling notes to balance with the latest technology. We've used the softest premium leathers, nubucks and suedes to craft this classic lace up sneaker upper, then cemented and sewn it to an ultra-soft, super flexible rubber outsole. The upper is fully leather lined, and lift the leather covered moulded footbed to reveal our latest comfort technology, a complex mix of polyurethane, styrene and rubber, that when moulded provides the wearer with ultimate comfort while assisting with energy rebound and delivering a more relaxed feel with less fatigue.

Bought the Deep Sea colour. It's a minimal sneaker with interesting textures, came with two sets of laces (off-white and navy) which is a nice detail. They are comfortable but the leather heel counter required some break in for me. Sizing as other true to size sneakers.

Good quality and stylish but not breathable
Let's start off with the good- a clean and minimalist sneaker that is ultra-versatile for outfit building. I've been wearing these almost daily for 3 months now and after a tough first week of breaking in, for which I found them fairly unforgiving, they are definitely comfy and a go-to item that I reach for regularly.
The main flaw I have found with these shoes are the lack of breathability. In weather above 25c+ they are brutally hot; you can literally feel the sweat and moisture build up in these as the day goes on and when you take them off you can smell the build up of sweat and stink. Whilst other shoes aren't purely leather these are, so there is no way for the air to escape the shoe apart from a few holes in the toe box which just don't suffice.
My other complaint is the durability. After wearing them so much the inside of the heel eventually broke down with the leather exposing the structure underneath which caused small bits of material to break away and remain loose throughout the shoe, even prompting me to have to take them off throughout the day to shake them small pieces out. I had to resort to sticking duct tape over the hole to stop this from happening which isn't really great considering the price point of these shoes.

Comfy, Casual Sneaker - Sussex Street Nero
These are my sencond pair as I've also got them in Deep Sea.
They're fairly lightweight, extremely comfy and come with a second set of white laces, allowing you to change things up a bit when required.
A very stylish & comfortable shoe.
Highly recommend!

I love the new kicks
Received my new trainers a little over 2 weeks ago and I think it's necessary to indicate that I love them. Really trendy, lovely shape and very good quality. Despite being a little on the pricy side, I personally feel as if they're the nicest of their type and will likely buy another pair when these ones get too worn. In addition, there's a 2 year warranty on them which indicates Rodd & Gunn's confidence in the shoe. Great job guys.

too big!!!
Too big… according to your official website, size 44 of this model should suit people who wear New Balance EU size 43 Wide… however, this is not the case… it turns out to be too big and after I put them on, a crease appeared and it’s no longer the original form so I gave up going to the store to exchange for a size 43 pair… not happy with this purchase at all… so disappointed
