These clean lined chinos are cut from an ultra smooth cotton sateen fabric, with a brushed effect for ultimate comfort. Woven in Italy, and enriched with a small amount of stretch to allow for greater movement and durability. Designed with straight forward chino styling and our popular custom fit.

Our fit pointer will help you to find the best fit and style, based on the measurement of a garment that already sits on the body correctly. All measurements taken from the outside of the garment, with the garment lying flat:
Pants
Rise:
The length from the fork (where the legs meet at the crotch) to the top edge, measured along the fly.
Thigh:
Measure the leg width at the fork level, and double.
Knee:
Measure the leg width halfway between the fork and the leg opening, and double.
Leg Opening:
Double the measurement of the hem, flatten creased trousers along their natural creases.

Unfortunately I ordered the wrong ones and had to exchange them for the 2 motion Jean pants.
Rather than post them back and get lost in the post, I exchanged them at the Bowral store.
I spoke to Purdey at the Bowral store and explained the situation that I had incorrectly ordered the wrong ones.
No problem for Purdey she was able to order the correct one’s for me.
Her communication and follow up was exceptional Purdey went above and beyond for customer satisfaction.
I ended up buying an extra pair as well.

So soft, wrinkle free and classic fit!
I bought these chinos because I wanted something that didn't wrinkle as badly as many other chino fabrics. This fabric is so soft, and surprisingly, despite this style of fabric, it is not a lint magnet. Also, the custom fit leans more towards classic suit trousers without being loose.

A comfortable pair of quality pants
These are the second pair of Chino Pants I have bought in the last 6 months, the first pair fit well and the light, soft material very comfortable to wear all day. The only reason I waited 6 months was because there was limited stock of the size I wear (33). They just fit right, with a good track record for quality (half of the pants in my closet are Rodd & Gunn's) and those are the most important things for me.

SIZES NOT CONSISTENT
Bought ivory pair R&G chinos which fit perfectly then ordered same size in navy colour way to find they are much smaller in the same style and size as ivory pair.
Unfortunately l always wash before wearing so cant return them now.
Very disappointed the chinos are made from beautiful italian fabric but not consistent with sizing.
R&G need to lift there quality control or they will fail longer term.

Awesome pants. Very good looking, and feeling chinos. The pants are soft and comfortable. Well constructed but receive marks a little easier than others. Only complaint is that I bought 3 of the exact same pants in the same size and they all fit slightly differently. One pair fits a size down of the others and I’m wearing them in slowly. But other than that all is well.
