Traditionally used in work wear, moleskin is hard-working all-round fabric which is softer and warmer than cotton twill. These jeans feature a lightweight 7.7 ounce version, woven in Northern Italy from premium San Joaquin Valley cotton, enriched with the comfort of stretch.

Lightweight moleskin - comfortable, soft and slightly stretchy
Would've liked a heavier weight moleskin like older styles, but these Albury jeans have gone for a more easy-wearing design with a slight stretch. Good quality construction, happy with my purchase.

Bring back the Rover Moleskin
I purchased one pair to try as a replacement to the Rover moleskin. I was hoping that these would be suitable as an alternative during summer, unfortunately they are not of the same quality as the Rover moleskin.
I am now wearing a competitor's moleskin that I am happy with.......long time Rodd and Gunn customer lost.

These are not made of the same quality and thickness of previous moleskin jeans I have bought from R&J. Cost the same but half the jeans.

Disappointed
Having had Rodd and Gunn moleskins before, I was disappointed with these. The fabric as stated is lighter, there is no leather logo on the fob pocket and they are a much tighter fit with very narrow cuffs.
