Belts

The leather styles are made from 100% genuine leather, chosen for its suppleness, durability, and ability to develop character over time. The stretch styles use an elastic webbing construction with leather tabs and a buckle, providing a more flexible fit suited to casual wear. The woven styles use a fabric weave construction, offering a lighter, more relaxed option with a similar buckle finish. Across all three families, hardware uses a weathered brass finish chosen for its aged appearance and durability over polished alternatives.

A leather belt is structured and holds a fixed position at whichever hole you fasten it to, lending a cleaner, more considered finish to the overall look. It suits more formal or structured occasions and works well with tailored trousers, chinos, and jeans. A stretch belt has an elastic webbing construction that gives with movement, making it more comfortable for all-day wear and a natural fit for casual occasions. It typically has a lower profile buckle and pairs best with chinos, shorts, and relaxed trousers. The choice generally comes down to occasion and how much structure you want at the waist.

A belt should fasten at the middle hole, leaving two holes spare on either side. This gives room to adjust as needed without the belt running out of length in one direction or the other. The tail of the belt — the section past the buckle — should extend roughly 10–15cm beyond the buckle when fastened. If the tail is too short or the belt barely reaches the middle hole, size up. If there is excess tail flapping beyond the first belt loop, size down. Leather and woven belts are sized to the waist measurement, so checking your actual waist measurement before ordering will give the most accurate fit. Stretch belts are sized in S/M/L/XL/XXL, if you are between sizes, size up for a more comfortable all-day fit.
