14 June 2022Rodd & Gunn x The Lodge Bar & Dining are thrilled to announce the opening of our global flagship lifestyle destination on James Street, Brisbane. A fusion of luxury and style, our coveted venue offers a sense of elevated approachability across both hospitality and retail, melding fashion, food and wine to create an experience like no other.
Our Rodd & Gunn retail store is situated alongside the hospitality space with floor to ceiling windows, allowing customers to view our entire range from James Street, with a seamless passage through to the hospitality space.
Our hospitality flagship is housed in a heritage Queenslander that blends local design and the raw, pure forms of nature found in our home country, New Zealand. The Lodge Bar & Dining has several different areas that can cater to any occasion from a lunch in the upstairs restaurant, to an after-work drink in the cocktail lounge to a dinner celebration in the downstairs dining room and more personalised events.
The Lodge Bar Group’s Executive Chef Matt Lambert’s approach to the food offering is a modern take on timeless classics, celebrating the finest local, seasonal produce Australia has to offer - including an array of seafood, meats, homegrown fruit and vegetables.
Cameron Douglas, The Lodge Bar Group’s Master Sommelier and Group Beverage Manager, hasn’t missed a drop. The wine list features wines from across the globe including Europe, Australia and of course showcasing our home country, New Zealand.
